About the Workshop

A practical and theoretical workshop focusing on the final design of wheel thrown pieces through trimming. Students will bring thrown pieces, and discuss types of clay, centering techniques and tools. We will focus on the form, design and various elements that will affect the final shape of the pot as well as burnishing, engraving, and advanced planning in preparation for glazing.
